I’ve a career of innovation-led thinking that’s lived in popular culture around the world.

I believe in the power of emotional connection and how a single idea can have a positive impact. It’s also critical we use creativity to challenge boundaries. My psychology has fuelled a passionate interest in our humanity, emotional make-up and what drives our behaviour. This curiosity is why at times my work is regarded as unconventional.

At my core I’m a solutions driven creative which is why I believe creativity is the ultimate competitive advantage and the most powerful driver of marketing effectiveness.


I’m proud to be an International board director of the One Club in the United States and on the Commercial Radio Australia committee. Between 2017/18 I was the Chairman of the McCann Asia Pacific Creative Leadership Council. In 2018 McCann Melbourne was ranked as the #1 EFFIE Asia Pacific creative agency and in 2013 was ranked as the #1 creative agency in the world by the ‘Gunn Report’​ and ‘Agency of The Year’​ by Campaign Brief. I was ranked by the Advertising Age as the worlds #1 creative director and art director by the ‘Directory Big Won’​ rankings as the #1 art director and #4 copywriter.

In 2014 McCann became the 3rd most effective agency in Australia. I was given the honour of being named the first ever winner of the ‘Creative Of The Year’ at the Australian Creative & Effectiveness Awards. I was the only Australian creative director and art director to have had work awarded by TED and housed in London’s Design Museum.

As chairman of the Asia Pacific McCann Creative Leadership Council I was to responsible for the McCann Asia Pacific award strategy, case films and entries. It’s was a unique forum for creative leaders to inspire each other and drive the highest possible creative standards.

I actively support the industry on award juries for Cannes, One Show, EFFIE’s, New York Festivals, Spikes, AWARD, Sirens and the Australian Creative & Effectiveness Awards ADMA AC&E. I was honoured to participate in the 2015 Cannes Lion Film jury, I’ve also been jury president for AWARD, ACE-ADMA and Adfest juries. I write opinion articles in the media for B&T, AdNews, Campaign Brief and also present at creative workshops, seminars and media events.
